Why electric?
As of 2030, the UK will be putting an end to the sale of all petrol and diesel cars, with a mission to accelerate a greener transport future.
The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reported figures that estimated that electric vehicle sales have overtaken diesel. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), latest figures propose almost one-in-five new cars that are sold worldwide this year will either be plug-in hybrid or full battery models.
